Starfall
This is one of our favorite sites.  You'll find fun reading games, books and other activities here.

PBS Kids
Here you'll find Arthur, Clifford, Curious George, Caillou, Mr. Rogers and so many other friends!  This site is packed with games and adventures.

Storyline Online
On this site members of the Screen Actors Guild read stories aloud.  You can follow along with the text.  There are many stories from which to choose.

CanDo's Helper Page
Practice skills with games that are rewarding and fun.  Visit this page to keep your skills sharp!

Book Adventure
Book Adventure is a great place for reading.  Kids, you'll need to register here with your parent's help, and once you do, you'll be ready to play games, read books and win prizes.

Story Place
This site has online books, songs and lots of fun activities.

Book Hive
Read a book and write a review.  Coloring pages, bookplates and writing your own story are some of the fun things you can do here.  You can listen to a real storyteller here, too!

BBC Schools, Words and Pictures
Here you'll find games to strengthen phonics skills and word recognition.  You can even write your own poetry and sentences.

Professor Garfield
Learn how to draw cartoons, play exciting games, watch videos, create your own comic strips, have fun with music, sounds and letters.  You can do a lot here!

TVO Kids
This is Ontario's public TV site for kids.  It's packed with lots of activities and learning games.  You can create your own songs, write journal entries, learn how to perform a magic trick, listen to stories and play with Clifford the Dog.

This award winning site has great games for beginning readers.

BBC The Magic Key Adventures
Here is another terrific BBC site.  This one features practice games with rhyming words, punctuation, sentence structure.  There are also printable worksheets to match each game.

ABC Ya!
This site has some interesting games, online dot-to-dot activities, and fun seasonal games, such as decorating a tree.  Check it out!

National Geographic Young Explorer
This is a great site which offers many different activities from reading the current issue, to crafts, science experiments and printables.
